Primary responsibilities are to service existing customers in an assigned territory. Account/Service Representatives’ responsibilities include planning service activities, attaining established service goals, and establishing and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

  • Overall management of service to customers—to include entering information into company laptop, creating window labels, identifying pertinent options, taking quality photographs, applying product to windows, and maintaining accurate online customer inventory
  • Coordinate activities for efficiency and to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Complete contracts accurately and completely
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships through effective customer service including follow-up, and addressing concerns and issues
  • Communicate customer problems or issues to management and take prompt action to correct
  • Complete and submit call logs as directed by the manager
  • Complete and submit all assigned reports accurately, completely, and timely

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required. Ability to use e-mail communication and access and use the Internet as a resource.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

               
    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:

    • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance that meet Company requirements.
    • Must be able to provide evidence of current automobile insurance and valid driver’s license on demand.

       

      OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES and REQUIREMENTS:   

      • Must consistently have a positive attitude toward providing excellent service
      • The ability to communicate well with management and develop a professional working relationship with our customers
      • Digital camera skills. Must have an eye for automotive photography
      • Demonstrated pro-active problem-solving skills
      • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills
      • Ability to work with minimal supervision
      • Must follow Company and local policies and procedures
      • Must project a favorable professional image to customers, industry colleagues, and co-workers
      • Must have a dependable vehicle in a mechanically safe condition that can support the requirements of the position
      • Meet deadlines and established criteria for all job functions
      • Solid base of general automotive knowledge
      • Experience working in a fast paced environment
      • Route service experience is a plus.
      • Must comply with Company’s Driver Safety Program
