**Accounting Manager – Card Accounting**



We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Card Accounting team as a Manager. This team member’s primary responsibility will be to manage the Consolidation and Reporting team. This position will require the ability to prioritize competing demands and communicate effectively. The individual in this role will interact with associates at all levels and will work closely with multiple teams including other Product Controllers, Card Finance, SEC and Regulatory Reporting, Card Agile teams and other internal groups.



_Primary activities and responsibilities include:_



+ Manage the team that functionally performs the consolidation and reporting activities and analysis, ensuring sufficient review and control over the end-to-end process

+ Communicate financial results to an executive audience on a monthly and quarterly basis

+ Provide assistance in other subject matter areas of team expertise, including accrued interest, marketing expenses, charge-offs, recoveries and legal entities

+ Actively assess risks in the processes and enhance controls as needed

+ Support ongoing projects of varying nature on behalf of broader team

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills



**_Basic Qualifications:_**



+ Bachelor’s degree or military experience

+ At least 5 years of accounting experience or at least 5 years of finance experience

+ At least 2 years of people management experience



**_Preferred Qualifications:_**



+ Masters of Business Administration

+ 1 + years of experience with essbase for excel or 1+ years of PeopleSoft application

+ CPA certification

+ 3+ years of people management experience

+ 1+ years of experience reporting financial results to an executive audience
