Patriots Colony is currently seeking a full-time Activities Coordinator.

Job Summary: Primarily responsible for coordinating development and ensuring smooth execution of activities available for participation by all residents to enhance the quality of their health and well being. Coordinate with marketing, administration, and other activities staff and residents for the promotion of activities that enhance quality of life for residents. Plan, implement and evaluate the activity program, which provides leisure opportunities that will meet the interest and needs of the residents.

Education: One of the following is highly preferred: 2 years of experience in an activities position in a LLH environment; a bachelor's degree in recreation therapy; eligible for certification in recreation therapy or as an activities professional; completion of a state-approved training course.

Certification: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist (CTRS) or Certified Activities Professional preferred. CPR certification preferred.

Experience: Previous activities experience in a long-term care or special population preferred. Strong organizational skills preferred.
