Administrative Assistant III-Cyber Risk Management

Cyber Risk Management, a component of Enterprise and Operational Risk Management (EORM) within Capital One, is a newly formed organization focused on providing expert advice, credible challenge, and effective oversight of information security and technology activities to identify, assess, control, and manage cyber risk throughout the company. This new organization will play a critical role in helping to ensure that the company’s risk taking entities are aware of the risks inherent in their activities and decisions, the impact of their actions on the company at an enterprise level, and opportunities to reduce, mitigate, or avoid the risks altogether.



The ideal candidate will be team oriented and have the ability to work with other administrative professionals collaboratively, ideally possess flexibility, be able to adapt to constantly changing demands and show themselves capable of taking on new and unfamiliar tasks. In addition, you will be competent at multi-tasking and will frequently find yourself in the center of everything that happens in the office. This position is extremely pivotal to the success of a well-run, efficient operation.



Administrative Assistants perform an array of administrative and clerical functions essential to running an organization efficiently. You will serve as an information and communication manager for an office; plan and schedule meetings by managing calendars; handle travel arrangements; create expense reports and disseminate information by using the telephone, e-mail and mail services.

**Responsibilities:**

- Managing calendars for Executives and performing all other administrative functions.

- Answering incoming calls and provide support as required by taking inclusive messages that allow managers to respond effectively. Autonomously provide assistance as required.

- Organize and arrange meetings by generating and allocating invitations, coordinating calendars, and reserving meeting rooms. Organize for catering, audio/video, and other essential services as needed.

- Plan and organize team events and other functions



- Fielding requests to serve as the main point of contact for the executives



- Processing department mail by evaluating, categorizing, and distributing department mail

to appropriate Capital One staff.

- Scheduling travel and create expense reports using Capital One systems

- Experience with all office landscapes such as scanners, fax machines, copy machines, multi-line phones.

- Maintaining highly organized confidential records and files.



The successful candidate will be a self-starter and should possess the confidence and poise to work with the Cyber Risk Management’s senior leadership team, other administrative professionals and various external stakeholders. S/he will be pro-active, have a strong attention to detail, good team dynamics, and an ability to work independently as needed.

**Basic Qualifications:**

- High School Diploma, GED, Equivalent Certification, or Military Experience

- Proficient in Microsoft Office

- At least 2 years of Administrative experience



**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree

- 5 years Administrative experience

- 2 years of experience in Verbal and Written Communications

- 2 years of experience in Multi-tasking
