The candidate will support Navy Ship Integration & Test efforts in the completion of government furnished and scheduled shipboard test procedures. Conduct shipboard testing events in accordance with test procedures as part of the AEGIS Modernization Team (AMT). Participate in underway Combat Systems Trials and perform logistical housekeeping tasks in addition to assigned shipboard testing. Support the AWS Test Lead and CS Test Manager in ensuring the successful completion of all Combat System Tests by identifying test related issues and supplemental requirements for completion of test events. Provide all tests, training and operational event reports to the AWS Test Lead. Assist in the coordination for sea trial testing and training. Attend all required daily test meetings identified by the Government Project Engineer or CS Test Manager and enter daily test status report updates into the Test Execution Manager Application.



The candidate must have the following: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university, with 1 to 3 years of professional or equivalent experience in testing large, complex Weapon or Combat System (preferably with AEGIS). Knowledge of Test procedures, processes and an understanding of scheduling and planning a Test Sequence Network. Experience in writing Test Reports; working with Microsoft applications and prior experience onboard a Naval Surface Vessel is desired. Candidate shall possess the ability to move and manipulate weights up to 50 pounds and have the ability to perform all duties in an industrial environment, support second shift and weekend work in execution of the test and trial program.


Security Requirements:


U.S. citizenship required. Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and a valid United States passport. Must meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. SECRET clearance and be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
