AML SharePoint Analytics Lead



**Job Title:** AML SharePoint Analytics Lead



**Job Level:** Principal Associate



**Summary:**



The qualified candidate will support the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) process of pipeline management, which might include daily updates, weekly expectation reports, and future planning options. The candidate will work closely with management to ensure data collection and production reports are fulfilled timely and accurately. Additionally, the candidate will utilize data analytics tools to drive improvement in the money laundering process and support AMLs management team be providing data and reporting that will be utilized by the operations team.



**Responsibilities:**



Role is focused on overseeing the production numbers, expectations, and planning for the AML investigation teams. The role will assist in assignment and reassignment of alerts/cases as needed as well as assist management within each line of business to understand project impacts, system downtimes to production, alert ingestion issues, time studies for alerts/cases, and FTE forecasting impact to pipeline production. As such, the role requires exceptional Microsoft office skills and the ability to consistently model Capital One values and competencies when working with associates.



**Key Responsibilities include the following:**



-Define data requirements and gather and validate information, applying judgment and statistical test.



-Leading and owning oversight of the pipeline production process and collaborating with line of business on improvements to the process.



-Develop data structures to support the generation of business insights and strategy.



-Maintain data infrastructure and develop scripts for the pipeline production process.



-Identify opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve business performance and utilize knowledge of mathematical modeling and other optimization methods to perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis.



-Communicate and present data to management by developing reports.



-Collecting data and information and using analytics and reporting to provide transparency to senior leadership and executives.



-Identify and implement process improvements driving issue resolution/risk mitigation activities.



-Tracking and resolving process breakdowns associated with the quality analytical environment.



-Understanding customers’ needs of the process and driving process improvements.



-Developing and maintaining formal process documentation including process artifacts and flow diagrams.



-Acting as a subject matter expert to effectively partner with process customers to achieve desired outcome or improvement by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions



**Basic Qualifications:**



-Bachelor's Degree or military experience



-Proficient in Microsoft Office



-At least 2 years of people management experience



**Preferred Qualifications:**



-Master's Degree



-2 years' work experience in an Anti-Money Laundering capacity



-2 years' process management work experience



-3 years' people management experience



-2 years' experience developing analytical reports
