Position Specifics: Must have experience with WAF's and tag outs. Must have experience manipulating and maintaining spreadsheets via Excel. Must have strong computer skills and the ability to multi-task. Must be able to travel 50% of the time.

This position develops technical documents including work control packages, formal work processes and procedures, test documents and reports as required. Assists in scheduling, reporting, verifying objective quality evidence documentation and disposition procedures for quality assurance documents. Responsible for updating and maintaining production database and incorporate applicable drawings changes as required. Interfaces with necessary Government, shipyard and ship's force personnel to assist with the generation and routing of technical work authorization documents as necessary. Completes training record reviews for on-site and tasked employees and assists with completing trip reports. Performs quality inspections on finished products as directed. Assists with planning measures of upcoming projects to include construction of production database, pre-fabrication efforts, work authorization documents, training requirements and any additional requirements as needed. May perform duties outside of primary duty/specialty in order to complete installation or work assignment.

Provides direction and lead others. Manages one or more multiple jobs. Master understanding of production and processes. Responsible for interfacing with customers, managing subcontractors and ability to provide work direction to others. Completes comprehension of specialty trades functions and tools. Performs a variety of complicated and non-routine tasks. Develops and uses technical documents including controlled work packages, formal work processes and procedures, test documents, reports and task or trip reports. Schedules, reports and briefs customers and senior management. May perform quality inspections on finished product. Performs duties outside of specialty in order to complete installation or work assignment.

Must be able to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. The exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job, but no less than 30 lbs. Able to work on and climb ladders, work in extreme temperature environments, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces. Able to perform other duties as required which may involve high heat, humidity, noise and dirty conditions, working aloft or over the sides of vessels. May ride ships at sea for extended periods. May require wearing a respirator. Travel may be required within and outside of the continental United States.
