Associate, Commercial Banking Communications



The Associate of Commercial Banking Communications role is within the Commercial Banking division of the company, supporting the Commercial Operations organization. The role is responsible for designing and delivering the steady drumbeat of internal communications in support of the businesses broader organizational goals and agenda for Commercial Operations.



The Associate will have experience in internal corporate or banking communications or experience in marketing or external public relations. The candidate should have strong executive presence and influencing skills and be comfortable working with associates at all levels.



The candidate should have experience in building strategic communications plans and delivering on tactics as well as a track record of serving as a strong thought partner with clients.



The candidate must have strong written and verbal communications skills and possess good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.



This position reports to the Communications Manager, Commercial Communications.



**Responsibilities** :



+ Develop communications strategies for organizations/leaders in Commercial Operations

+ Ensure all messaging and communications strategies are focused, accurate, and aligned with Commercial Communications messaging and approach

+ Meet with internal clients and work directly with project teams to support communications

+ Write and edit communications from a range of internal sources

+ Work with key partners and team to deliver internal associate newsletter

+ Develop and maintain internal internet sites for the Operations department, ensuring all channels align with Brand standards and continuously reinforce Ops objectives

+ Execute the internal communications campaign

+ Serve as the Associate Engagement Network communications

+ Ensure that communications tell an articulate, consistent and compelling story about business priorities, with a strong voice and the right channels

+ Ensure that communications help the business achieve their targeted results

+ Contribute to the effectiveness of the broader Commercial Communications team



**Basic Qualifications** :



+ Bachelor’s degree or military experience

+ At least 3 years of Corporate Communications, Internal Business Communications, Marketing or Public Relations experience



**Preferred Qualifications** :



+ Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Content Management Systems, and Adobe suite
