B2B Marketing Manager- Small Business Card



Role:



Capital One is seeking a passionate marketer to support the needs of our fast growing B2B Business Development team. This role sits within the Card Marketing organization and will develop the marketing strategy for our tradeshow, affiliate, and field sales teams. It requires strategic thinking, keen communication and influencing skills, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional groups (legal, IT, operations, internal and external creative agencies, etc.), and an aptitude for balancing short-term tactical needs with longer-term strategic needs.



Responsibilities:



+ Oversee the development of marketing materials for all business development channels. Champion the Spark Business brand, ensuring marketing materials are on-brand, consistent in voice and style, and meet our high-bar for quality.

+ Capitalize on our national tradeshow presence to build stronger brand awareness with attendees. Extend the reach of our on-site activations with pre- and post-event marketing.

+ Develop a marketing strategy in support of business development efforts to identify, pitch, and onboard new partner organizations. Craft tactical marketing plans for each new affiliate partner and oversee agency production of creative assets.

+ Develop an end-to-end marketing program for our expanding field sales teams. Explore the effectiveness of workshops, local market activations, and direct marketing to warm and retain leads.

+ Provide in-market sales materials to facilitate face-to-face interactions with customers and prospects.



Basic Qualifications:



+ Bachelor’s degree or military experience

+ At least 5 years of experience in B2B marketing OR at least 5 years of experience in sales/ business development

+ At least 5 years of experience crafting multi-channel marketing programs, including planning, execution, and analysis

+ At least 5 years of experience managing creative resources including designers, writers, and agency personnel



Preferred Qualifications:



+ 5 years experience in financial services marketing

+ Proficiency in CRM tools such as SalesForce.com
