Business Continuity Manager



**Title: Business Continuity Manager**



**Level: Manager**



**The Role:**

As a Risk Manager in the second-line Business Continuity Program you will be part of a talented team responsible for managing and leading internal Business Continuity team strategies and supporting enterprise business partners. The key responsibilities of this role will be to lead, challenge, and educate internal customers and partners on response and recovery program initiatives.



A successful candidate will be able to work autonomously in a fast paced environment, having the business continuity expertise and skills to connect information from multiple sources and drive solutions to support overall Program initiatives. This individual must display strong leadership skills and be able to motivate a team in delivering flawless execution of program processes and projects. This position will rely heavily on using Business Continuity subject matter knowledge to communicate and educate internal business customers and partners, work with the business continuity systems, and analyze opportunities to build and improve program processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to be effective on this team. We are looking for individuals who excel in a team environment, have strong communication skills, have first-hand experience in business continuity practices, and the ability to adapt to change quickly.



**Responsibilities:**



+ Aligning strategies and prioritizing work with broader Program initiatives

+ Lead a team and/or direct others

+ Managing multiple business continuity initiatives and projects simultaneously using strong time management and prioritization skills.

+ Collaborating cross-functionally with project team members, project customers and key stakeholders to provide strategy, drive influence and value to effectively drive project delivery

+ Assessing internal customer’s needs of the program in order to drive improvements, revising needs to meet changing requirements

+ Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure all initiatives and projects deliver on intent

+ Performing detailed analysis to include risk/issue management and development/completion of remediation projects and/or escalate as needed



**Basic Qualifications:**



+ High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification, or Military experience or equivalent work experience

+ 1 year of experience in Business Continuity Management, or 1 year of experience in Crisis Management, or 1 year of experience in Risk Management

+ 2 years of project management and 2 years of process management experience

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office

+ 1 year of people management experience



**Preferred Qualifications:**



+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ 2 years of experience in Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, or Risk Management

+ 3 years of experience in Project/Process management
