**Chief of Staff, Digital Products Engineering**
The Digital Products Engineering team is responsible for building Capital One consumer banking software across web, mobile, personal assistances and iOT experiences. Our award-winning apps enables our 45 million customers to open and manage their Credit Card, Bank, Auto Loan, Home Loan and Investing accounts.
The engineering team is passionate about delivering amazing user experiences and shipping on time with high quality through use of the best technology and engineering practices available. The team is positioned at the center of a larger multi-LOB (line of business) technology organization, coordinating and leading cross-LOB technology projects and dependencies.
As a strategist, consultant and implementer, the successful candidate will ensure streamlined activities within the organization based on the priorities of the VP. The Chief of Staff will handle day-to-day management of personnel to allow the leadership team to focus on delivering exceptional digital experiences.

**-Organizational Development** - Participate departmental planning and organizational strategy. Act as an advisor to the VP and his senior leadership team. Create and execute communication strategy. Organize leadership team meetings, town halls, Pulse presence, etc.
**-Business Management** - Create routines and processes to enable the efficient and effective management of the **Digital Products Engineering** team. Partner with the Shared Tech COS team on governance deliverables such as Quarterly Business Reviews, compliance activities, space management, agile controls, etc.
**-Financial Management -** Partner with the Finance organization to ensure accurate budget forecasting and management.
**-Workforce Strategy** - Facilitate development and execution of the Digital Products Engineering workforce strategy in partnership with the leadership team, HR, Finance, and the Shared Tech COS team.
**-People Strategy** - Partner with HR and the Shared Tech COS team to create and implement strong talent and performance management routines, diversity and inclusion practices, and recruiting priorities. Foster strong associate engagement.
**-Project Leadership** - Manage special projects to support departmental objectives.
-Bachelors Degree or Military experience
-At least 7 years experience in Project- Process management
-At least 5 years of experience in communications planning and development, including department communications, leadership team meetings, presentations, memos and reports
-At least 4 years experience managing visible projects which require the ability to manage cross-functional team members, remove obstacles and influence appropriately
-At least 4 years of experience managing senior stakeholders across different business functions
-At least 2 years of experience working in organizational development and performance
-Bachelors Degree in Business, Technology, Finance or Organizational Development
-Masters in Business Administration
-Proven ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
-Previous experience in a role that required thought collaboration, influencing, and trust building among peers and employees
