POSITION SUMMARY ADP is looking for a Tech & App Management specialist lead (TAM) that will be responsible for managing, operating and troubleshooting the network infrastructure environment as it relates to Cloud Services. Key responsibilities are break/fix of technologies (such as: router and switch virtual instances, VPN, DNS/DHCP, Proxy, Firewall, etc.), Root cause analysis, capacity and change management and Software lifecycle management. The qualified candidate will join the operations team in supporting all Cloud based infrastructure technologies and help develop strategies around IPv6, Software defined networks, Proxy, Firewalls, DDoS, VPN, Wireless and Packet capture. The candidates must have scripting knowledge to help us with our strategic goals. The TAM Lead position will have the ability to challenge the status quo both technically & operationally. He or she will begin training other TAM operators on supporting cloud enabled services and help ADP leverage cloud services as a strategic resource. This candidate should have expert knowledge in cloud infrastructure technologies as well as have a broad understanding across software defined technologies and concepts of scripting using Python, Chef, HTML5 etc. There will be a heavy focus on how these technologies are integrated using API's and concepts that can be applied to automated infrastructure life cycle management delivery. The position is will integrate with the Global Infrastructure Services teams and provide support all aspects of Infrastructure technology projects and activities. You are responsible to work closely with other groups (example: Security, Design & Build, Service Managers and Architects) to understand why, what and how we can use the cloud and support our business partners. RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Own all reported cloud services issues and vendor break/fix coordination escalated from the Tier 1 support team (NCC)
* Assist with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and tracking. Lead RCA investigations and coordinate actions items with appropriate teams
* Assist with changes on all Cloud enabled Network software and Hardware. Implement change records as required.
* Firewalls Change Management -- assist with firewall change requests and supply required configuration changes. Submit to Security teams for approval and implement changes.
* Software Life Cycle Management - Manage network device code levels for all cloud instances.
* Implementation support - Interface with and assist various implementation teams coordinating and validating network implementations.
* Participate in client life cycle management; setup, support and decommission
* Global Infrastructure Services Project Support. Will be assigned to projects needed to help maintain the ADP Corporate Network.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
* Experience primarily with technologies such as Router, Switches, network protocols, VPN, DNS/DHCP, Proxy, Firewall, wireless Packet Capture, scripting, programming.
* Ability to work collaboratively & be a team player
* Knowledge of specific technologies & understanding of majority of the key industry technologies
* Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate and solicit input from other IT Disciplines when troubleshooting issues.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
* Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred.
* Vendor certification preferred ADPTECH #LITECH
