The Old Dominion University Department of Communication Disorders and Special Education is inviting applications for the position of Clinical Educator/Lecturer in Communication Sciences and Disorders (full-time 12-month non-tenure track) to provide clinical education and supervision in the ODU Speech and Hearing Clinic starting in the Fall 2018 semester.

Requirements

Required Qualifications: Master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology; ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology; licensed or eligible for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology by the Virginia Department of Health Professions; at least four years of professional experience beyond the Clinical Fellowship.
 
Preferred Qualifications:  Prior experience in supervision of SLP graduate students; strong verbal, writing and technology skills; varied clinical experiences working with child and adult populations; record of inter-professional experiences; demonstrated commitment to diversity or experience working in multicultural settings.
The Communication Sciences and Disorders program is part of the Department of Communication Disorders and Special Education, housed in the Darden College of Education. The program offers both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs.  The college prepares outstanding professionals for work in the region, engages in research and serves the profession. Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
