Content Marketing Creative Manager



We're seeking a Content Marketing Creative Manager to help us create a seamless digital experience for consumers by meeting and exceeding their need for information over their entire financial lifecycle. Together with our business team, internal writers and designers, and external agencies you will generate deep consumer connections by creating the content people seek, and surprise them with information and insights they weren’t expecting. + You should be a content junkie with a passion for business, travel, finance and personal growth.

+ Get excited about helping consumers understand and utilize the one thing that touches everyone’s lives — finances.

+ Excel at teasing out fresh content angles and ways of delivering complex content in a way that’s easy to understand.

+ A flair for the fun, creative and unexpected in text, data visualization and multimedia.

+ Experienced manager who can lead without getting in the way of a highly functional internal team.

+ Provide guidance, feedback, mentorship and performance evaluations to a staff of writers and designers.

+ Manage our external agencies by providing clear intent and managing through to final execution.

+ Asist in the creation of solid intent documents to initiate creative development with internal and external teams.

+ Work with our SEO team to identify and leverage unmet search needs.

+ Experience working in different formats of content, such as articles, infographics, videos and social.

+ Ability to research and recommend content ideas, as well as oversee the quality and consistency of all content.

+ A keen eye for grammar and inconsistencies, as well as a love of language.

+ At ease managing multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually and collaborating across teams.

+ A storyteller, a design thinker, and a guardian of the user experience who meets customer needs with clear, consistent, and compelling content.

+ A great sense of humor. We work hard, but we like to have fun doing it.



Basic Qualifications:



+ Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience.

+ At least 4 years of editorial experience with a content marketing focus



Preferred Qualifications



+ Experience in financial services, payments, B2B or B2C e-commerce would be beneficial.

+ Strong understanding and experience with content marketing concepts, best practices, content types, and distribution channels.
