Opportunity Alert! Director of Business Development, Advertising-Marketing | Norfolk, VA area | ForRent.com, a division of Dominion Enterprises is looking for a driven, experienced and process-focused individual to lead our Corporatehousing.com sales team as our Corporate Housing Business Development Manager. Our ideal candidate has a successful track record of building and leading high performing teams selling digital media and marketing services. This leader will have proven success in hiring top talent and actively coaching to deliver results that exceed objectives. In this role, you will work with other sales leaders to execute on our sales growth strategies at Corporatehousing.com. We have ambitious goals and you’ll be challenged to think strategically in order to win new business and continue to grow our footprint as the marketing services leader in the corporate housing vertical.

Your Challenge and Opportunity:

  • Grow revenue and market share
  • Provide leadership, direction and education to enable a high-performing sales team and culture.
  • Pro-actively manage individual rep performance, and provide consistent coaching while leading a positive team environment.
  • Actively utilize SalesForce/CRM for effective pipeline management, with ability to give account team counterparts insight into opportunities expected to close in the next 30/60/90 days
  • Work collaboratively across teams - including Marketing, Search and Product Development
  • Maintain weekly sales forecast and achieve quota to ensure revenue objectives
  • Own and understand landscapes and trends

Contribute Your Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of successful experience in a sales leadership role
  • Experience in the corporate housing industry with an existing book of contacts
  • Experience working in digital media platforms preferred
  • Extremely comfortable operating in Salesforce CRM
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
  • Proven track record of successfully building and leading sales teams
  • Understands social landscape (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and has a high curiosity about the digital media space
  • Experience forecasting revenue and managing to company goals
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling and deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record of success leading a business development channel
