Director - Product Management - Service Experience



In Capital One’s Commercial Bank, we are _Changing Banking for Good_ by re-imagining how we deliver day-to-day value for our Clients, associates and shareholders – and are seeking an experienced, innovative and curious Product Manager to lead the evolution of “how we work” in service and operations from a primarily manual shop to a scalable, digitally-enabled powerhouse.



We’ve got the must-have bone structure in place, with executive support, a talented team, and a high-level vision to enable a seamless, scalable, smart, low-risk and beautiful experience for associates across 33 business areas, who collectively perform all fulfillment and client service activities for the Commercial Bank. We’ve made some core technology investments and are well-positioned to completely disrupt and re-imagine how a top 10 Commercial Bank can deliver great value to our clients. **Here’s how an inspired product leader can push our thinking and deeply connect to our users and solve core business problems:**



+ Lead and execute long term service experience/infrastructure transformation, tied deeply with technology and actively influencing executive leadership on resource investments to accomplish goals

+ Lead a product team to deliver user and business-driven outcomes, in a test and learn environment, leveraging human centered design, lean and agile principles

+ Inspire non-traditional thinking by applying knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends, and multi-dimensional expertise, and can apply to deliver our Capital One’s business strategy

+ Leverage working business knowledge of a service and operations environment – and industry-leading capabilities we’ve adopted such as Salesforce (Service Cloud) – to simplify our shop and deliver certainty of execution, scale, and differentiation

+ Inspire creative problem-solving (including the analysis of “white space” problems), deep discovery, and consensus-building among large groups of diverse stakeholders including senior executives

+ Drive deep relationships with our business stakeholders and accountable executives to manically ask, “for the sake of what” in every investment we make

+ Mentor others in Design Thinking practices, applying appropriately and executing effectively to yield optimal feedback for informing solutions and priorities



Candidate must possess strong and dynamic communication skills, blending passion with well-reasoned thinking, and an ability to develop strong and grounded position statements.



**Basic Qualifications** :



+ Bachelor’s degree or military experience

+ At least 7 years of experience in digital product management

+ At least 3 years experience leading product teams



**Preferred Qualifications** :



+ Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA)

+ 7+ years experience and proven success in translating business strategy and analysis into successful digital products​

+ 3+ years experience in financial services and Commercial Banking
