eChannel Marketing and Development Director       

Primary Purpose:  To provide expertise, leadership and direction to the bank’s electronic product development, marketing and communication initiatives

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement TowneBank’s strategy to achieve “best in class” digital delivery of the bank’s products and services. 
  • Provide insight on the role of eCommerce and electronic delivery to executive management for inclusion in the bank’s overall business plan.
  • Provide leadership for members of the eChannel marketing team.
  • Provide product management and development for products and services delivered through online and mobile channels (with an emphasis on commercial and treasury services). Hands-on engagement and management is expected from start to finish including: identify new products and services, develop business cases, implement, configure, test, develop internal and external communications, and provide ongoing management and maintenance.  Also includes conversions from one system to another.
  • Develop and maintain tools, content and features to acquire and retain members on the TowneBank website.
  • Facilitate eChannel Product Development Steering Committee with representatives from operations, IT and from the sales field (retail and commercial).
  • Maintain brand consistency across Towne family of websites in conjunction with affiliate business leaders.
  • Design and implement marketing efforts to promote online products and services.
  • Provide creative input and implementation support for online advertising campaigns.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices in the financial services, online marketing and eCommerce fields.

 


Requirements

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

 

  • 7-10 years experience in electronic marketing and online delivery of financial products and services
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of financial products and services. An emphasis on commercial and/or treasury products and services preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of eCommerce, email and online marketing best practices
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Effective organizational and project management skills
  • Effective vendor management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously. Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities
  • Able to work independently, often under deadline, to meet established goals

 

Desired Skills and Competencies:

 

  • 10-20 years digital marketing and financial product management experience
  • Experience with digital commercial products and treasury service
