Enterprise & Tech Brand Social Strategy, Principal Associate



Capital One is seeking an Enterprise & Tech Brand Social Strategy, Principal Associate to help drive social media strategy for our Enterprise Brand and Technology lines of businesses. As a key member of our growing cross-functional team, you will work with internal business partners to understand business needs and drive strategy for always-on content, event amplification, campaigns and you will be a go-to expert for internal partners that need social media strategy consultation.

**Responsibilities:**



+ Develop and lead execution for a pipeline of campaigns and always-on social content

+ Make strategic recommendations that drive thought leadership and social engagement to influence perceptions of a qualified audience

+ Find and communicate insights that fuel the Enterprise Brand and Tech business agenda

+ Develop great creative briefs and oversee the creative development process, ensuring marketing materials are on strategy, on brand, on message

+ Lead internal creative teams as well as agency partners to deliver brand-defining material

+ Support sponsorships / event executions to amplify impact to a broader, national audience

+ Partner with social community managers to ensure flawless execution, quality engagement and consistent voice

+ Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive strategies to identify potential challenges and opportunities in the short and long term



**The ideal candidate will have:**



+ Knowledge across all major social platforms including, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.

+ Experience in best practices for Targeting, Channel Strategies, Social Moderation/Management, Engagement Metrics, KPI Development, High-Level Understanding of Paid Social Media, Analytics/ Insight Tools

+ Experience supporting large-scale events in social channels

+ A comfort level with navigating complexities and white space in a pioneering role

+ Process orientation and ability to work independently to resolve problems, yet with a strategic sense for how and when to effectively manage up

+ Experience leveraging influencers in social media initiatives

+ Passion for the rapidly changing world of technology



**Basic Qualifications:**



+ Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience

+ At least 3 years of marketing communications, public relations or advertising experience with a social media focus



**Preferred Qualifications:**



+ At least 3 years of experience in digital and social media marketing

+ At least 2 years of experience in a B2B marketing and/or technology environment

+ At least 2 years of experience in content marketing
