This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate with degree in Visual Communication or at least one year experience in graphic design at a professional level.

Basic Purpose

The focus of this work is digital marketing, which includes but not limited to the design of email marketing campaigns, display ads and landing pages.

Essential Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design, layout, manage assets of clients’ communications; direct mail, email marketing, display ads, landing pages, social media graphics and websites. 
  • Developing, coordinating, editing, and maintaining assigned content, particularly in terms of automotive industry. 
  • Ensures that content meets client's job specifications and branding needs. 
  • Follow strict OEM compliance and design standards.
  • Assist with asset management and organization of graphic files, etc. 
  • Create production ready art files for print. 
  • Addresses technical matters (HTML, deliverability, etc) to ensure timely delivery and compatibility of product. 
  • Possesses strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and responsive design fundamentals, email best practices, industry trends and other web and email marketing technology. 
  • Provides advice and counsel on technical matters as they relate to streamlining the process by which ads are designed and emailed. 
  • Complete all assigned material in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy and a low error rate. 
  • Working in a fast paced team environment under tight deadlines. 
  • Coordinates with marketing specialists, product specialists and team lead on specific issues or needs on our product offerings.

    Education and Experience

    This position requires a degree in Graphic Design or equivalent proven professional work experience. Experience with HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Pre-press and Microsoft Office are essential. Must be proficient in Mac OS.

    Specialized Knowledge and Skills
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of typography, technical skill and artistic sensibility throughout the design process
    • Create eye-catching designs with a meticulous eye for detail
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
    • Good communication, presentation and planning skills
    • Strong organizational skills are a must
    • Ability to analyze visual and verbal content of creative materials and take lead on execution of ideas
    • Ability to maintain overall client strategies and objectives
    • Good interpersonal skills to work as a team member
    • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
    • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
    • Ability to develop relationships with people of diverse backgrounds and experience

      Work Environment and Physical Demands

      This position is closely tied to the overall performance of the Marketing Services team, and as such, faces various demands. These include physical demands such as lifting computers and or monitors, work days that will typically exceed eight hours, this position also includes mental demands such as the normal stresses associated with interacting with people, managing projects, and completing tasks within a defined time frame.  Travel may be required.This position requires good communication skills, the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel within the organization, excellent organizational and time management skills, and a high level of initiative. Successful candidates are also expected to have the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, have the ability and willingness to make effective decisions and set priorities according to the needs of the organization and project.

      Reporting Structure

      This position reports to the Design Team Lead.

      Supervisory Responsibilities

      This is a non-supervisory role.
