Job Details

Provides high level administrative support to the CEO, Board of Directors, and as needed Board Committees. Coordinates and delivers administrative support for the executive team. Coordinates and executes high level communications, special projects, and tasks from start to finish.

Major Responsibilities: Manages the office of the CEO. Responds to emails, mail, meeting requests, and phone calls on behalf of CEO. Provides high-level, value added administrative support to the President/CEO and successfully plans, manages, and executes all aspects of high-level special projects, as assigned by the CEO. Coordinates and tracks budget, resources, deadlines, and deliverables from project inception through completion. Coordinates board communications via e-mail, phone, and fax as appropriate, including but not limited to notifications of meeting schedules, distribution of correspondence and packets. Manages and updates Board of Directors and CEO's calendar. Schedules and coordinates all Board meetings and as necessary, board committee meeting including logistics, venue, catering, materials, equipment, etc. Also provides assistance to the CEO on matters concerning external boards.


Position Requirements: The successful candidate will possess a College Degree (BS or BA in a relevant field) and five years to eight years of similar or related experience. Work involves extensive personal contact with members of the Board of Directors, community leaders, business leaders, and internal managers. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business communications, financial reports, and other relevant business documents. Requires professionalism in all dealings and the ability to appropriately handle the confidential nature of the position. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Demonstrated success managing and executing multiple priorities and projects for multiple team members based on business needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Physical qualifications include standing or sitting at a computer for extended periods of time and the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
