  • Perform functions related to global trade consisting of purchasing, shipping and compliance processes in partnership with international logistics and value chain stakeholders.


  • Direct communications with value chain stakeholders in various countries and across various cultures utilizing where possible, language skills and a variety of communication platforms to optimize international stakeholder business relationships at appropriate levels, to ensure long term partnerships.
  • Serve as main contact on various aspects of compliance to include inspections and audits by regulatory agencies and\or customers which effect the business and communicate those clearly, effectively and in a timely manner to all value chain stakeholders in various countries and across various cultures.
  • Perform various global compliance (branding, packing, labeling, legality, certifications, pricing, logistics), identify gaps, create processes and execute compliance to ensure sustainability of due diligence with regulatory requirements for the global movement of products, including chain of custody certification standards of FSC for global locations.
  • Confirm quote and sales process steps within area of responsibility within the global trade network are both respected and reasonably secure.
  • Confirm the performance of logistics and associated vendor contracts support the quarterly & semi-annual negotiated agreements.
  • Participate in the development of new products and/or product lines for the company relevant to the global marketplace focusing on ERP ‘fit’ and aspects of configuration, technical aspects of the product or product line, etc.
  • Possible travel to domestic and/or international mills.
  • This position has the potential to grow into a new, higher value position within the company given reasonable success in comprehending the foundation of knowledge required to meet the requirements of the value chain function.






  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic achievements and work ethic.
  • Conversant in a foreign language; French or Spanish preferred.
  • Strong communications skills; written and verbal.
  • Well-developed mathematical skills. 
  • Must possess a high level of attention to detail. 
  • If not a U.S. citizen, must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • In depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
