At Capital One, we’re building a commercial franchise that is on a mission to help our customers succeed by bringing ingenuity, simplicity, and humanity to banking. We measure our efforts by the success our customers enjoy and the advocacy they exhibit.

Our goal is to build out a destination process powered by digital solutions that drives efficiencies, effectively leverages data to drive risk insights, and dramatically improves the associate and client experience tied to our lending businesses. In addition to policy and process simplification, the program is looking to leverage latest technologies (including robotics and machine learning) to build innovative solutions that differentiate us in the marketplace.

We are looking for a Head of Credit Transformation Delivery to partner with leadership across analytical teams, digital product managers, human centered designers, engineers, and risk leadership to set and enable the program’s long-term objectives. In addition to establishing the program’s long term objectives, the Head of Credit Transformation Delivery will drive development of the overall program roadmap, deployment oversight and support, business readiness, change management, and performance measurement.

The person will be responsible for challenging the status quo, pushing conversations beyond the day to day, and looking horizontally to find opportunities to advance the program’s initiatives and optimize the program’s performance. Critical to success will be his/her ability to connect and integrate objectives, navigate difficult conversations, and earn the confidence and trust of key internal stakeholders. The role also requires the ability to work effectively across a matrixed organization, that includes multiple commercial segments, UW segment leaders, Technology, and Operations.

Additional responsibilities include:

+ Ensuring the Credit Transformation projects and initiatives align with objectives and expectations set with Commercial Leadership, including annual imperative planning and target setting

+ Actively partnering with digital product teams to align solutions with program objectives

+ Ensuring projects are being delivered on time and on budget within a challenging environment while simultaneously managing risk

+ Supporting issue resolution and risk mitigation, escalating to advisory and steering committee groups, as needed

+ Driving alignment between stakeholder groups and coordinate any cross-functional dependencies

+ Facilitating measurement of program outcomes through analytics

The ideal candidate will:
