Job Summary: Oversees the daily movement of home care staff and efficient routing of Universal Care Partners. Supervises department Office Assistants. Works with the supervision of the Department Manager. Responsible for the scheduling of staff and coverage for vacancies due to: illness, vacation and other scheduled and un-scheduled absences. Maintains office scheduling software and acts as super-user of the system. Oversees input and management of Timekeeping system to ensure control of overtime and efficient use of staff. Maintains current knowledge of office protocols, processes, and transportation routes as it relates to home care needs. Develops processes to improve department efficiency and connection between office staff. Collaborates with office staff to interview, hire, and train staff in order to fill open positions. Coordinates the orientation of new employees, and verifies competence of office employees. Ensures office files are complete as it relates to outside agencies, and internal employees. Develops and maintains procedures around Incontinence Supply Ordering, Mileage Tracking, Time Sheet Auditing, and In Home Technology to enhance productivity and efficiencies. Supervision of housing units to ensure efficient staffing and coordination of care. Works in collaborative relationships with off-site facilities and all critical internal customers including participants and caregivers. Supports transition planning for patients as it relates to care received from the Home Care Department. Monitors, reports, and manages department utilization measures. Takes rotation of after-hours on call as assigned to support the departmental operations. Other duties as assigned including but not limited to the ability to fill most positions in the event of vacancies and to assist with office efficiency.
Education: Minimum Experience: Associates Degree or higher required. Business courses preferred,
Certification & Licensures: Minimum Requirements: Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record required upon hire and to be maintained during employment.
Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year experience with logistics, scheduling and/or route coordination required. Must provide proof of minimum one (1) year experience working with the frail and/or elderly population in any capacity. Experience in a home health or healthcare setting highly preferred.
Hours: primarily day shift Monday thru Friday.
