Riverside Convalescent Center in Smithfield, Virginia has an exciting career opportunity for a Household LPN.
The Household Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works under the guidance of the Nurse Mentor and Household Mentor and in partnership with all household staff and is ultimately responsible to the Director of Nursing. The Household LPN promotes rehabilitation guests/residents well-being and satisfaction by supporting person-centered and guest-/resident-directed care. The Household LPN participates in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and provides for the emotional and physical comfort and safety of the rehabilitation guests/residents and their families and is a role model for professional nursing practices. As an employee of the Household, the LPN is considered a versatile worker and is cross-trained in different functions of the Household within scope of licensure (if applicable) in order to meet guest/resident needs as they occur.
EDUCATION: Graduate of a School of Nursing program
LICENSURE: Licensed or eligible by the state as a Licensed Practical Nurse. BLS for Healthcare Providers required
EXPERIENCE: Previous experience is not required.
HOURS: Full Time 7am - 3pm, Part Time 7pm - 7am, 3pm - 11pm, Labor Pool various shifts
