Housing Stabilization Specialist (Grant Funded)

This class will work directly with individuals who are experiencing chronic homelessness and have substance abuse disorders, serious mental illness (SMI), or co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorder. Veterans who experience homelessness/chronic homelessness and have substance use disorders, SMI, or co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorder. The Housing Stabilization Specialist will help the individuals identify housing needs and assist them in applying for housing opportunities, including development of a housing plan. Work involves managing a caseload, supportive counseling and on-the-job training supervision.

Salary: $38,658.05

Work Schedule: Will include some evenings and weekend visits.


Bachelor's Degree in Human Services (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or Counseling) and one (1) year case management experience including housing resource for adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders.

Valid state Driver’s License. Please submit your Department of Motor Vehicle driving record current within the last 60 days.
