HRIS Manager (Workday)



The Capital One **HR Solutions Delivery** team is seeking a Systems Integrator with experience in **Workday** in support of the Capital One's Core HR system. We have been live on **Workday** for just over a year and are leveraging HCM (Talent, Benefits for Canada and UK, Base Compensation), US Payroll, Time Entry and Absence, Recruiting and Onboarding. Our roadmap is very robust and includes optimizing our Workday system, increasing adoption as well as leveraging new digital technologies. The **HRIS Manager** will be responsible for consulting on technology solutions to deliver on the HR Strategy as well as providing hands on support to a team of **Workday configuration specialists** and **report writers.**



**Responsibilities** **:**



+ Analysis of Workday updates to provide recommendations on roadmap for new features

+ Provide consulting support to promote and optimize the use of Workday to meet business needs

+ Partner within HR Solutions Delivery team to drive issue solutions and seek resolution

+ Develops strong partnerships across all disciplines of HR to fully understand HR business processes to effectively analyze and configure Workday solutions to meet the needs of the business

+ Stay up to date on HR technology trends

+ Remain educated on business intent & strategy to build HR technology roadmap

+ Performer in Workday configuration process for projects and enhancements as needed

+ Performer in Workday reporting process as needed

+ Provide consultative reporting support to both HR organization as well as end users



**Skills:**



+ Excellent written/verbal communication skills and ability to interact with IT, Third Parties, and business partners

+ Ability to analyze complex, interconnected business processes

+ Assist and coordinate complex problem solving discussions

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects in a fast-paced, changing environment

+ Experience in understanding and translating the priorities of the business and integrating the HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business

+ Ability to establish working relationships with team members at all levels in the organization

+ Ability to effectively manage confidentiality of information

+ Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and technology

+ Ability to understand and react quickly to changing priorities

+ Candidate must be a self-starter who possess strong customer focus, command skills, comfortable implementing change, and dealing with ambiguity

+ Advanced analytical, problem solving, and organization

+ Experience with Workday strongly preferred



**Basic Requirements:**



+ Bachelor's degree or military experience

+ At least 3 years of HR Systems experience

+ At least 3 years of enterprise system configuration experience



**Preferred Qualifications** **:**



+ 5+ years of experience in HR/HRIS

+ 3+ years of experience with Workday

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office
