Knowledge Manager



MosaicTech is looking for an experienced candidate to develop and execute a robust knowledge management strategy to include the identification, collection, and organization of critical information and decisions for the Mosaic organization. The Knowledge Manager (KM) would be responsible for building and organizing the team’s information assets in appropriate frameworks to facilitate efficient storage, maintenance, and retrieval of information.



The Knowledge Manager will be part of data client engagement team within the broader Mosaic Technology organization. Mosaic Tech is in charge of transforming the data ecosystem at Capital One. The KM will work closely with the enterprise data architects, product engineers, and customers to help document this transformation. The candidate will help capture and organize content including technical decisions, product information (white papers/information guides etc.), and data architectures related to customer use-cases and organization strategies. They will also help Mosaic team members identify and create knowledge content for internal Capital One audiences.



Daily jobs could include:



+ Help build and maintain knowledge repositories, and processes that facilitate capturing critical information.

+ Promote knowledge management best practices, including training and internal consultation.

+ Actively promote the knowledge agenda with team members, and drive the efficient use of knowledge management processes, tools, and infrastructure.

+ Analyze the effectiveness of the new knowledge management programs through observation and evaluation in terms of the organizational benefits.

+ Monitor implemented efforts for KM using data analysis, external benchmarking and other appropriate tools and techniques.

+ Facilitate the dissemination of knowledge outside the Mosaic organization through connections, coordination, and developing communication channels.



Your experiences and interests likely include:



+ Strong aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ High level of organizational, planning, and time management skills

+ Using single-sourcing techniques to reduce maintenance costs and accelerate delivery

+ Creating a single, centralized, collaborative system of record

+ Thinking about information in a structured, hierarchical way

+ Being an experienced, independent thinker with proven project management experience

+ Managing multiple simultaneous projects and stakeholders and deliver results



Basic Qualifications:



+ Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience

+ At least 4 years of professional experience in either knowledge management or business administration or information technology or technical writing

+ At least 3 years of experience using collaborative knowledge management platform tools such as Confluence

+ At least 2 years in building, scaling, and driving use of knowledge management frameworks

+ At least 2 years of experience working within an agile delivery environment

+ At least 2 years of autonomous project management including development of work breakdown structures, tasks and schedules.



Preferred Qualifications:



+ Master's Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field

+ 3+ years of experience in Microsoft SharePoint Designer

+ 2+ years proficiency in business intelligence tools such as QlikView, Tableau, or Splunk

+ 2+ years web development and the use of HTML or XML, and Javascript coding
