Lead Platform Engineer



We are currently seeking a Platform Engineer to work on our Commercial Tech Operational Excellence Team to provide leadership during high severity incidents, provide triage support, and lead efforts to resolve problems that will improve system stability.



**Responsibilities:**



+ Leads & Orchestrates high severity incident calls

+ Coordinates triage activities for Commercial-owned incidents; represents Commercial triage activities for Enterprise-owned incidents

+ Drives triage and troubleshooting recommendations, and is the ultimate decision maker on triage recovery directions

+ Provide direction to Incident Management/AMT during Commercial-owned incidents

+ Keeps Commercial Tech Leadership and Commercial Bank Leadership informed

+ Coordinates management of Commercial Executive bridge calls

+ Summarizes impact and current investigation/ fix status on a fixed cadence and keeps the triage activity moving forward

+ Coordinates activities of a matrix team of technicians on the triage call to investigate unstable conditions and is responsible for making calls to run approved changes/fixes

+ During investigation period, makes timely decisions to escalate the issue in predefined time frames that support recovery of services within document recovery time objective



**Other Accountabilities** :



+ Performs a triage coaching role cultivating additional incident triage leaders within Commercial Tech

+ Provides incident triage and problem management training to System Teams on a periodic basis. Includes maintenance of a reference library of relevant support documentation

+ Works with Commercial Tech System Teams, System Monitoring and other technical teams to establish early detection conditions requiring incident management services.

+ Drives opportunities to resolve issues at the point of detection

+ Identifies improvement in monitoring tools, reporting tools and reported issues. Correlates alerts, events with impacts to proactively improve early detection

+ Demonstrates strong technical understanding of the application setup and the platforms/technologies on which the applications execute

+ Responsible for the Commercial Incident Severity Matrix

+ Participates in Problem Management discussions for streamlined and value added hand-off

+ Build relationships with stakeholders and customers

+ Has visibility into key changes that could potentially impact system or business availability

+ Manages support and availability requirements for horizontal services that span multiple value streams across Commercial Tech



**Basic Qualifications:**



+ Bachelor's Degree or military experience

+ At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology

+ At least 3 years of experience in Incident Triage



**Preferred Qualifications:**



+ Masters Degree in Business (Banking or Financial Services concentration preferred), or Master's Degree in Commerce, or Master's Degree in Computer Science, or Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, or Master's Degree in Management of Information Systems, or Master's Degree in Management of Information Technology

+ At least 2 years of experience in Project Management
