Lecturer/Curriculum Coordinator
Old Dominion University
Career Switcher Program
Provide curriculum oversight to the Old Dominion University Career Switcher Program.  Teach noncredit and graduate courses.  Choose activities that are profitable to the overall success of the College. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
•       Teach Foundations of Education and Classroom Management
•       Provide customized contract training to local school divisions using the Mursion Simulation Technology
•       Assist adjunct instructors with integrating technology into their instruction
•       Train faculty to use the Mursion Technology
•       Teach Practicum Seminar
•       Teach graduate classes for College of Education as requested
Administrative Duties:
•       Collaborate with Director to recommend curriculum improvements based on feedback from evaluations.
•       Serve on Career Switcher Advisory Board with Program Director
•       Serve as Education division website administrator
•       May serve as the College of Continuing Education and Professional Development and the College of Education Liaison. 
•       Chose activities that will result in revenue for the College
•       Assist the College of Continuing Education and Professional Development with Development Surveys
Curriculum Coordinator:
•       Assist director with accreditation efforts by ensuring curriculum is aligned with the Virginia Department of Education standards and adjust when necessary.


Required: Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Education from a regionally accredited institution. Working knowledge of Mursion Simulation Technology, adult learning, survey methodology and curriculum development.  Knowledge of Virginia Department of Education standards for teacher licensure. 
Preferred: Prior experience in Alternative Route to Teacher Licensure Certification Programs. Prior experience teaching education related courses at the college level.
