Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant

Waters Law Firm is seeking a litigation legal secretary/legal assistant.


Responsibilities include performing secretarial duties in all matters in support of the attorney/owner of the firm and one associate attorney.

Candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years experience as a legal secretary at least some of which was in litigation. Our work product must always meet high professional standards; therefore, the position requires high attention to detail, excellent verbal/written communication skills and excellent grammar and proofreading skills. The candidate must be proficient at the use of computers and possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook and social media, as well as the ability to independently draft correspondence and simple legal documents. Client interaction is an important part of the job along with the ability to work professionally and somewhat independently.
