Job Details

We have an opening for a Maintenance Technician-I on our property management Team in Hampton, Virginia.

This position is a vital component of the day-to-day service provided to existing and prospective tenants. Responsibilities to include but not limited to; ensuring interior and exterior areas of the properties are litter free and safe, complete and document maintenance requests in a timely manner, ensuring adequate repair items in inventory, perform routine maintenance and repair on central or individual AC units, adhering to safety guidelines set by OSHA and EPA, delivering maintenance services with a positive customer-focused and attention to detail.

Requirements

Successful candidate will have; minimum 3 years maintenance experience, knowledge of preventative maintenance practices, must be able to read and write service requests, mechanical and electrical aptitude along with basic knowledge of plumbing and carpentry including drywall repairs and fire/life safety systems, high school diploma or GED and related vocational training and/or work experience, technical school, HVAC certification or other designations preferred.

*Must possess own hand tools and valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
