Manager, Diversity & Inclusion



Building an inclusive culture while hiring, developing and retaining diverse talent is a top priority for Capital One. As Manager, Diversity and Inclusion, you’ll work directly with a senior leadership team deeply committed to becoming a more diverse and inclusive organization. In this role, you will responsible for developing an integrated diversity strategy and framework to determine whether and how Capital One responds to social D&I topics that impact our associates, customers and/or the communities we serve. You will work closely with partners across the enterprise and in the broader industry to introduce and embed best practices to achieve our collective D&I goals.



You must be a forward-thinking and dynamic professional, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, make informed decisions, influence at all levels of the organization and deliver achievable and measureable results, in support of our D&I objectives. The ideal candidate should not only be passionate about delivering meaningful solutions, but also develop rigorous goalsetting, and continuous improvement disciplines, and be passionate about advocating for the advancement of D&I.



Responsibilities:



+ Support the Corporate Diversity & Inclusion team to deliver flawlessly executed processes and programs that improve business efficiency and drive results

+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key D&I partners, including Legal, Government Relations, Community Affairs and Corporate Communications

+ Analyze and present trends in the area of D&I, stay abreast of best practices and benchmark leading companies and programs

+ Drive cross-functional team efforts to achieve business outcomes with strong communication, influencing and problem solving skills

+ Inform direction for overall assessment and response strategy to assess risk and opportunities on a variety of D&I topics

+ Provide relevant data, analysis and recommendation to guide decision-making related to strategic D&I advocacy response efforts

+ Lead project management efforts through execution, putting structure in place to manage work in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements

+ Provide situational status updates to cross-functional team and key internal stakeholders including HR functional partners and Business Resource Groups



**Basic Qualifications:**



+ Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience

+ At least 2 years of experience working on Diversity and Inclusion initiatives

+ At least 2 years of experience in Process management

+ At least 3 years of experience in Project management



**Preferred Qualifications:**



+ 5 years of Diversity and Inclusion experience

+ 5 years of experience in Project management

+ 3 years of experience in Process management methodology including Agile, Lean and Six Sigma certification
