Manager, Partnerships M&A Well Managed Team

The Partnerships M&A Well Managed team provides horizontal support to the Partnerships business across various partner and infrastructure teams. This position is within the team that primarily manages portfolio of Partnership Risk Events where the breakdown occurred within Partnerships SOR, intent was wrong or breakdown was a result of partner actions. The team leads Partnership business teams through Risk Events & Issues management process including breakdown assessment and root cause analysis to ensure breakdown is fully understood for containment and remediation planning. The team regularly has opportunity to identify and recommend process improvement opportunities including sustainable remediation, while effectively partnering with business lead customers to achieve desired outcome or improvement by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions. The team includes Whirl SMES so also supports other well managed initiatives.

**Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

+ Provide leadership for Risk Event and Issue management execution through established processes to mitigate risk to company and ensure optimal customer experience.

+ Execute upon strategic well-managed projects and initiatives

+ Streamline interactions with the business related to breakdown enhancement, event progress and process improvement opportunities

+ Partner with Legal and Compliance to deeply understand exposure from breakdowns to provide guidance to the business

+ Independently identify and evaluate key risks

+ Drive prioritization recommendations and understands/articulates appropriate trade offs

+ Coordinates, influences and negotiates priorities with teams to ensure event goals/timelines are met; escalates when appropriate

+ Partners with team to identify enhancement opportunities to communicates status and updates to key stakeholders

+ Research and problem-solving as needed to support the business

+ Understands and utilizes all Risk Management tools, playbooks and systems to document the risk and resolution as required;

+ Training and development of others as necessary

+ Creation of effective metrics and reporting required to communicate performance and information to broad audiences

+ Establishing strong interaction models and relationships to collaborate with key stakeholders, ensuring delivery of commitments

+ Experience in management of multiple projects concurrently in an autonomous environment

+ Subject matter expert in designated Risk Methodologies and corporate risk practices

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience

+ At least 2 years of Operations, Financial Services Compliance or Risk Management experience

+ At least 2 years of experience in Process Management or Project Management

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ At least 5 years of operations management or risk management experience

+ At least one year of experience as a Risk Event Issue Manager

+ Project Management certification

+ Process management training (e.g. Six Sigma, BPM, etc.)
