Manager - Risk Manager - Consumer Bank Product & Marketing



The Retail Bank’s Consumer Risk Office is looking for a risk manager who will provide risk management support for the Consumer Product & Marketing organization, specifically supporting our Experience Product and Innovation teams. The Risk Office is accountable to Consumer Leadership to negotiate optimal solutions to achieve business objectives and launch efforts in ways that are operationally sound and meet all regulatory requirements. This requires strong collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, and other business partners to ensure business strategies and efforts are both compliant and well-managed, which is especially important in the fast-changing digital landscape.



**Role Responsibilities:**



Partner closely with the Consumer Experience Product and Innovation teams to enable strategies while protecting the Bank’s reputation and our customers through the following:



**Risk Management:**



o Manage risk across Retail Bank and report assessments to Senior Management



o Identify and resolve risk events / issues impacting customers stemming from process breakdowns or other problems, developing permanent corrective actions



o Influence Retail Bank groups to document policies, processes, standards, and procedures to facilitate/demonstrate compliance with laws and regulations



o Develop and implement risk management controls in GRC



o Implement new compliance or risk initiatives sponsored at a corporate or Bank-level



o Lead business responses to internal audits and external exams



o Influence leaders and leverage business partners across the organization to drive results



**Project/Process Assessments:**



o Conduct Risk Assessments of new strategies in the Digital arena, assess new initiatives for Risk and Regulatory Compliance, and help develop the right solutions



o Lead teams through unstructured problems and manage change while demonstrating superior problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and executive presence



o Build strong cross functional partnerships within the Consumer Product & Marketing team and corporately



**Basic Qualifications:**



· Bachelor’s Degree or military experience



· 3 years of experience in Project, Risk, Compliance or Process Management;



· 3 years of Project Management experience



· 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients



**Preferred Qualifications:**



· 5 years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs



· 3 years of Financial Services risk management experience



· PMP Certification or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM)



· Ability to set direction, manage expectations and lead cross-functional teams
