Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Local Dealer Account Contract Management – Use independent judgment and discretion to manage contracts representing significant revenue for Trader Interactive by reviewing and processing insertion orders through various control points and approving all orders while also understanding and adhering to the client’s contract requirements.
  • Campaign Optimization – Monitor campaign delivery and recommend campaign optimization strategies derived from report analysis. Lead significant optimization decisions with other key strategic departments.
  • Process Management – Exercise independent discretion and judgment to identify, determine course of action to rectify issues, communicate and lead correction of deficiencies in our systems and processes.
  • Pre Sales Support – Provide technical direction to platform sales and planning roles; managing and interpreting customer requirements to ad technologies and system support

Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs;

  • Ad Delivery - Technical understanding of ad delivery logic and provide system information and explanations
  • Ad Scheduling Software – Set up, traffic and manage ad campaign delivery via ad scheduling and order management software suite.
  • Reports – Produce reports on a weekly basis using ad delivery software and MS Excel. Provide analysis of reports to internal and external customers.
  • Revenue Recognition & Invoicing – Review client contracts to understand key invoicing requirements and make determination of accurate order management and ad serving delivery. Use delivery reports to enter and review all monthly billing information in internal billing system. Responsible for securing third party reporting logins and troubleshooting potential billing issues before month-end closing begins. Also support Accounting Department in monthly billing and deferred revenue reconciliation efforts.
  • Communication & Coordination – Partner with sales teams to provide options and solutions to maximize revenue for the company while also meeting client expectations. Also interact via phone, and email with multiple internal and external customers.

CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content Knowledge - Know and understand the various content areas within the sites served by the Ad Operations group. Ability to communicate the impact of the content upon the clients' advertising campaigns.
  • Client Support - Develop long-term relationships with new and existing clients through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Ad Sales Products and Promotions - Communicate to customers the various Ad Sales products & promotions. Understand their effectiveness in delivering the intent of the client's ad campaign, and their effect on trafficking of the site.
  • Inventory Control – Understand online inventory control and the ability to coordinate with Ad Sales and other Campaign Specialists to meet contract guarantees as stated in the clients' insertion orders.

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creative Instructions - Solicit creative material for various ad products per established specifications and approve and schedule according to advertiser/insertion order requirements.
  • Troubleshoot creative issues and act as liaison to 3rd party tag and rich media vendors and creative development team.
  • Quality Control - Ensure linkage, creative performance, schedule delivery and integrity for the sites served by the Campaign Specialist group.
  • Collaboration with other departments; such as clients, vendors, account management, product development, marketing, finance, engineering, as well as senior company managers.
  • Training - Mentor and Train new team members. Train and coach sales teams to ensure digital sales success


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 1 year in digital sales operations

environment and customer service preferred.

- Online advertising/production background preferred.

- Experience working in a team environment.

  1. SKILLS

Required:

  • A good knowledge of Web browsers, search engines and other Web-based software applications.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications for word processing, database management and spreadsheets; proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and stay organized in a fast paced environment.
  • Well-developed problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
  • Able to understand and explain Web advertising trends and technologies.
  • Ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to learn new processes and technology.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Ability to communicate with persons with various levels of knowledge and understanding of Web technology and Web advertising.

- Familiarity with HTML and Flash.

- Familiarity with DFP (DoubleClick for Publishers and Operative software).

- Basic understanding of media math (i.e. CPM calculations)
