The Role:



As a Sr. Operations Associate at Capital One in Payment and Treasury Operations, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for creating and enhancing processes that deliver excellence to your customer each and every time. The Sr. Operations Associate will play a key role in delivering processes that impact the company’s bottom line through vendor, technology and other organizations. In this position you will contribute immediately while strengthening your process management best practices. This process manager will occasionally lead others in a matrixed environment to deliver projects of moderate complexity in the Payment Operations organization.



Responsibilities:



+ Leading the delivery of key business priorities and initiatives dependent on Payment Operations.

+ Expectation to deliver initiatives across the enterprise in partnership with US and Canadian business units

+ Identifying and implementing process improvements driving issue resolution/risk mitigation activities

+ Tracking and resolving process breakdowns

+ Understanding the payment processing needs of our customers and driving process improvements

+ Developing and maintaining formal process documentation including procedures and process flow diagrams

+ Effectively partner with project customers by acting as a subject matter expert to clarify needs and provide appropriate solutions to achieve a desired outcome

+ Applying Customer back thinking to solve all business problems while protecting the interests of stakeholders to deliver beautiful client experiences.



Basic Qualifications:



+ High School Diploma, GED, equivalent certification, or military experience

+ At least 1 Year of process management experience

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office



Preferred Qualifications:



+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ Lean Certification

+ Agile Certification

+ Six Sigma Certification

+ Business Process Management Certification

+ Project management certification

+ At least 1 year of experience in Compliance

+ At least 1 year of experience in Risk Management

+ At least 2 years of experience in Process Management
