Principal Associate, Content Marketing Associate- Small Business Card



Capital One is seeking a passionate marketer to lead the digital marketing efforts for our fast growing, small business credit card segment. This role sits within the Card Marketing organization and works closely with the Marketing & Analysis team – it requires a mix of brand strategy development, channel expertise and marketing analytics. This role is at the center of our growth strategy and creates a powerful leadership opportunity for bold, innovative marketers seeking to work for one of the most recognized brands in America.



The Role:



+ Devise strategy to drive traffic, engagement, and leads to small business credit card web properties

+ Develop and execute an SEO roadmap and SEO effectiveness, including success metrics, processes for measurement, competitive audits, and opportunity analysis

+ Collaborate across functions to create a market leading content marketing strategy and editorial plan that integrates with other brand strategies

+ Research, measure, and grow link building campaigns including external link acquisition, internal link strategy, and other relevant sources to maximize links

+ Test new forms of content distribution (social, online media, etc.) to meet the brand and business objectives at the lowest possible cost

+ Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice and optimized for search and user experience for all channels (including online, social media, email, print, and in-person)

+ Must have the passion and talent to generate and build a case for transformative marketing ideas.

+ Detailed-orientated with strong project management and prioritization skills, along with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Highly effective communicator with outstanding writing and presentation abilities.



Basic Qualifications:



+ Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience

+ At least 5 years of experience leading digital marketing strategy across a variety of disciplines (content, SEO, and social media)

+ At least 5 years of experience managing creative resources including designers, writers, and agency personnel

+ At least 5 years of experience managing integrated multi-channel marketing programs, including planning, execution and analysis



Preferred Qualifications:



+ 2 years of experience in financial services marketing

+ 2 years of experience in B2B marketing experience
