Principal Associate, Credit Accounting



We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Credit Accounting team as a Principal Associate. This role will support and represent Credit Accounting within corporate initiative and Controllers Group, along with driving process improvements within Credit Accounting systems and processes. The ability to develop and understanding of upstream and downstream process impacting Credit Accounting will be critical. Additionally, partnering closely with our finance, line of business accounting and risk management partners will drive success in this role.



**Primary Responsibilities (Credit Accounting Project Team):**



+ Representing and supporting Credit Accounting on cross-functional project teams.

+ Build strong relationships with line of business partners while ensuring adequate and timely communication

+ Develop requirements and test cases for new or existing processes, perform test execution, and provide ongoing support for post-implementation processes and system

+ Drive process improvement efforts including identification of areas of opportunity and execution of refinements to existing processes

+ Develop and establish monitoring associated with project implementation

+ Maintain up-to-date understanding of projects which includes activities, risks and issues, assumptions and dependencies

+ Managing select associates to elevate performance, develop associates, create a positive experience and build and maintain a high performing team

+ Developing technical knowledge of Credit Accounting and upstream processes to understand impacts, influence enhancements, and serve as a subject matter expert



**Basic Qualifications:**



+ Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

+ At least 4 years of accounting experience or at least 4 years of finance experience



**Preferred Qualifications:**



+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation

+ Strong Track Record of building relationships among accounting groups and other areas of an organization

+ At least 1 year of project management experience

+ Strong analytical, problem solving, project managerial and organizational skills
