Principal Communications Associate



Summary:

Provide strategic and tactical communication support for organization under supervision of senior communicator. Work independently with minimal supervision. Consult with internal clients on enterprise-wide messaging and manage department communications channels. Collaborate with line of business communicators to drive messaging on corporate-wide initiatives.



The Associate will:



-Provide strategic and tactical communication support at department level or provide project communication support including communication plan development, writing/editing articles etc.

-Creating and delivering a variety of communication programs utilizing print, multi-media and online communication mediums

-Provided writing, editorial and production support for communication projects

-Technologies/software packages, e.g., Content Management System, Adobe Photoshop, HTML

-Working with cross-functional teams; work with others to get things done



Responsibilities:

- Provide tactical communication support to senior communications manager

- Consult with internal clients on communication requests

- Ensure communication effectiveness

- Manage the department portal site

- Partner with and guide communication clients



Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree

- 2 years of experience in Managing communications to various audiences: business-writing, managing a newsletter, editing

- 2 year of experience in Developing communication strategy for department or company

- 2 year of experience in Communications role

- 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)



Preferred Qualifications:

- 6 years of experience in Managing communications to wide variety of audiences business-writing, managing a newsletter or similar type of communication vehicle, editing

- 3 years of experience in Developing communication strategy for department or company
