Program Coordinator / Scrum Master



As a Program Coordinator at Capital One, you can achieve results you never thought possible by leading critical and strategic business projects. In this exciting role you will work closely with key stakeholders to deliver results that will have direct impact on the bottom line of the company. **General Responsibilities:**



+ Facilitate the smooth operation of large technology delivery planning events, comprised of 100+ people across multiple locations. This includes contract negotiation, audio and video set up, managing catering orders, and other logistics for the event.

+ Serve as the point of contact for all program activity

+ Act as a “scrum master” for program team, managing and participating in large- and small-scale program work backlog

+ Plan and execute multiple, agile train ceremonies and executive meetings, to include scheduling, gathering and editing, and planning logistics

+ Ensure and influence team statuses using a variety of reporting methods (e.g. regular reporting decks, standups)

+ Use strong analytical skills to review and report on train level efficiency and metrics

+ Compile and analyze survey results

+ Identify and help implement process improvements that increase speed and efficiency across the train

+ Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed

+ Leverage problem solving skills to ensure on-time delivery of tasks

+ Maintain key program documentation and communications

+ Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes

+ Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands

+ Display strong consulting and collaboration skills

+ Other projects and duties as assigned



**Basic Qualifications:**



+ Bachelor’s degree or military experience

+ At least 1 year of project and contingency planning experience

+ At least 1 year of experience working with the Microsoft Office product suite

+ At least 1 year of Project or Process Management experience



**Preferred Qualifications:**



+ Knowledge of JIRA/Atlassian product suite

+ PMP, Lean, Agile/Scrum Master or Six Sigma certification

+ Ability to gather and calculate data to drive meaningful outcome

+ Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills

+ Strong judgment and critical thinking, particularly around impediments and opportunities for escalation

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills

+ Ability to learn and change quickly, including the ability to learn and use software and other technology
