Project Manager, Brand



Capital One is hiring for a Brand Marketing Principal Project Manager ready to apply their project management expertise to a dynamic Fortune 200 company? **What you will be responsible for…**



- Work on large and medium scale integrated marketing projects that have a direct impact on the company



- Autonomously leading and driving the project through discovery and delivery involving: Planning (documenting objectives, success measures, scope and customer expectations); Governance Planning and Management (roles, responsibilities, interactions, communication), Monitoring and Reporting



- Develop and execute detailed work plans, project schedules, decisions, risk and issue logs, and status reports



- Conduct project meetings and is responsible for project documentation, tracking and analysis.



- Monitor and manage critical path, decisions, risks, plan contingencies, facilitate scope changes, and build mitigation plans to achieve desired outcomes



- Act as liaison between brand strategy leads, channel work stream leads, and cross-functional team members



- Apply sound judgment and innovative thinking when working with clients to solve problems, while recognizing trade-offs between competing priorities that affect delivery



- Identify and solve opportunities to improve and streamline project management practices in the organization



- Build repeatable processes and tools to increase effectiveness of project management in the organization



- Continually grow knowledge, skills and practice of evolving and new methods of getting work done, championing it to the organization.



**What you will bring...**



- Exhibit a proven track record of project management of multiple high profile projects simultaneously, with the ability to quickly put structure in place



- Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands with strong consulting and collaboration skills



- Demonstrable experience identifying and solving opportunities for the organization by building a grounded case, detailing options and offering clear recommendations.



- Be detail and results oriented, ability to meet and exceed objectives and handle multiple deadlines and priorities



- Demonstrate confidence in having direct conversations with customers and workstream leads for the good of the project



- Demonstrated experience in various project management / problem solving methodologies (waterfall, agile, design thinking, etc)



- Proficient in Microsoft Software Suite (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint)



**Basic Qualifications:**



- Bachelor's degree or Military experience



- At least 4 years of Project Management experience



**Preferred Qualifications:**



- At least 5 years of Project Management experience managing marketing projects



- At least 5 years of marketing experience either on agency or client-side



- At least 2 year of Previous financial management experience



- Project Management Certification: PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
