TE Sensors Solutions seeks a talented technician to support engineering with test operations. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and have the skills needed to meet internal and external demands while providing defect-free products in a timely manner per customer requirements.


Responsibilities & Qualifications:


  • Support design engineers in the manufacture and testing of prototype sensors
  • Become proficient in the winding and assembly of coil based sensor assemblies (LVDT’s)
  • Supports Design and Process Engineers as needed to meet manufacturing measures of performance
  • Set up and operate engineering testing equipment for testing and prototypes
  • Perform analysis for debugging new product and equipment
  • Assist in performing data analysis and generate Engineering report
  • Suggest/implement process improvements
  • Performs advanced product testing (i.e. – vibration, thermal cycling, etc…)
  • Inspects product to controlled requirements as required



  • Associated Degree in technical discipline, minimum requirement or equivalent experience
  • Soldering (certified or trainable to pass certification preferred)
  • Proficient in computer software (Word, Excel)
  • Able to read drawings, schematics and bill of materials
  • Basic electrical knowledge (DMM’s, o’scopes, schematics, trouble shooting)
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (use of calipers, hand tools, gauges)
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
  • Design and build small test fixtures
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to ITAR Military programs
