Due to business growth and future growth aspirations, Homes.com, a Dominion Enterprises subsidiary
located Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking a sales training professional to based in the Norfolk, Virginia office
location to engage with sales training teams and sales management. The ideal candidate has multiple years of sales/sales coaching experience, and approaches work with a collaborative mindset. Role requires development and coaching to principled sales improvement content. Delivery channels include classroom, virtual live, virtual recorded, and one-to- one environments. Travel opportunities may be up to 25% per month.

The Opportunity:

1. Assist in the design, development, and delivery of training programs and related materials as
candidate learns the business, solutions offered, and nuances of the real estate industry.

2. Create educational content using multimedia tools such as online modules, video, and emerging

3. Coordinate pre-training logistics for classroom and virtual programs and tailor content to
participants and their market, business, and/or products.

4. Facilitate classroom or virtual media training, involving participants so content is both engaging and
easily digested.

5. Submit post-session evaluations describing group involvement, specific coaching, and follow up
development opportunities with employees and their managers to ensure training concepts are
being reinforced.

6. Potential for business travel to include office settings outside of Norfolk, VA location.

7. Report on training activities and progress with to direct manager.

Facilitation: You enjoy presenting and training in front of audiences, large and small; you are responsive to your audiences, draw them out, and maintain rapport throughout; you coach attendees with candor and sensitivity, and with confidence and insightfulness you summarize your recommendations to senior training and sales leadership.

Strengths: Your business competencies include business acumen to include customer focus, interpersonal savvy, listening, planning, comfort around senior management, time management, drive for results, presentation skills, planning, sizing up people, problem solving, organizational agility, motivating others, and composure.

Numbers: Your analytical abilities include math and skills in calculating fractions, discounts, interests, commissions, proportions, percentages… you are not afraid of numbers; and your analytical abilities extend to problem definition, reading technical and business documents, writing reports and succinct business correspondence, data collection, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions

Technology/Equipment: A/V equipment skills and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PPT)

Tools: CRM knowledge and skills in Salesforce.com

Responsibility: Self-discipline to manage personal travel. To include preparations for flight/hotel/car rental, amongst other things required for travel.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree preferred or three to five years of related experience and/or training in sales/digital advertising; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
