Senior Analyst, Capital Markets Funding



The Capital Market Funding team at Capital One is responsible for term wholesale funding for the company. This activity includes the issuance of Brokered CDs, unsecured debt, asset-backed securities, preferred equity, and common equity. In addition, the team is responsible for share repurchases, management of legacy outstanding securitization trusts, and any general liability management transaction.



Serving as the primary lead on Brokered CD Issuance will use market color on peer issuance and broker pricing indications, to determine weekly pricing recommendations that meet our funding objectives. Grow into the subject matter expert for the company on the Brokered CD market. Maintain strong relationship with Broker Dealers. Understand relative value of Brokered CDs versus alternative funding sources. Manage weekly consolidation of Broker sales totals and booking of trades in Summit. Serve as primary reviewer of Master Certs and Terms sheets. Provide general support for all of Capital One’s Capital Markets funding programs. Provide execution support for new issuance activity which includes coordination of senior management schedules for documentation execution, reviewing documents, and independently manage the trade entry process. Ensure all funding programs operate in compliance with the governing transaction documents, regulations, and internal policies and procedures. Manage the collection and distribution of indicative credit spreads on all of our funding programs. Execute ongoing securitization management activities such as asset additions and increases to enhancement. Develop market insight through interaction with investment bank analysts. Lead the creation of monthly management and reporting related to all program. Develop and maintain productive relationships with key internal and external partners and customers including but not limited to internal and external counsel, Investment Bank analysts, Accounting and internal/external auditors, relevant line of business contacts.



**Basic Qualifications** :



• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or military experience



**Preferred Qualifications:**



• Master's Degree in Economics or Accounting



• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation



• 3-5 years of experience in Financial analysis or in Capital Markets
