Senior Associate, Digital Product Management

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who enjoy the challenge of improving our customer experience using innovative thinking.



As a part of the content engagement organization within Capital One, you'll be responsible for creating digital products that use motivational psychology and behavioral design to help our customers. As a digital product manager at Capital One, you will employ a customer-centric approach and work with a cross-discipline (product-tech-design) team to develop new products, instruct others how to improve current products, and help teach behavioral design techniques and frameworks.

**In this role you will need to:**



- Be insatiably curious about the human mind and what motivates us.

- Product manage the build of an internal self-service platform. This includes creating the vision, roadmap, and delivering pilots to test and learn.

- Be a consultant to internal customers–helping them build products using behavioral design methods.

- Train others in meetings and the classroom how to utilize the core human motivations.

- Plan and facilitate user research in person and online and then synthesize the results to find the true insights.

- Plan and facilitate weekly ideation sessions with your team using Design Thinking methodologies.

- Develop a communication and marketing plan that motivates internal customers to partner with you.

- Work with Sr. Leadership to inform the vision for behavioral design.

- Prioritize and groom your backlog using a Kanban style project management tool that keeps your team aligned and your product constantly improving.

- Create a metric strategy for your platform and other pilots, then track to those qualitative and quantitative measures to understand what to improve.



**The ideal candidate will possess:**



- An innate desire to help customers solve their problems.

- Ability to work independently with directional guidance from leadership.

- An ability to meet commitments, build consensus, negotiate resolutions, and garner respect from other teams.

- Experience with agile product management.

- Excellent presentation skills and is comfortable presenting to senior leadership and large groups.

- Strong attention to detail, combined with ability to see and explain the big picture.

- Ability to deal with ambiguity, change, and shifting priorities.

- Efficient in analyzing data and understanding user metrics.

- Familiarity with digital analytic tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics



**Basic Qualifications**



- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience -

- At least 1 year of experience in digital product management
