Senior Associate, Health and Welfare Benefits



**Summary:**



This role is part of the Benefits team. The person in this role supports ongoing operations, projects, and programs for Health & Wellness benefits administration, including vendor management and oversight. The focus of this role is on analysis, administration and compliance of the benefit programs, including audits, risk management and process design. The person in this role will perform a variety of functions, including managing associate inquiries and identifying/resolving process and system breakdowns, using experience to streamline and document processes, improve functionality, and ensure an exceptional associate experience.



**Responsibilities:**



+ Oversee day-to-day operation of benefit programs to ensure execution equals intent

+ Develop, document, and manage appropriate process controls and operational metrics, including overseeing and directing the same with vendor partners

+ Respond to high-visibility requests with minimal turnaround time and limited direction

+ Vendor Management

+ Identify and implement program/process improvements to ensure accuracy, mitigate risks and drive efficiencies

+ Incident identification and remediation

+ Identify and provide feedback to vendors and internal departments regarding issues/trends

+ Partner with internal and external teams to support cross-functional work

+ Program and project management, including annual Open Enrollment and Year End activities

+ Data management, audits and analysis

+ Manage and support regulatory and compliance tasks, such as annual reporting and testing

+ May include people management or oversight of contractor work

+ Tracking, reporting, and presenting data, activities, accomplishments and upcoming tasks

+ Autonomous work with high quality results

+ Other duties as assigned by manager



**Basic Qualifications:**



+ High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification or military experience

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office

+ At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources



**Preferred Qualifications:**



+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ At least 5 years of experience in benefits

+ At least 3 years of customer service experience, including managing escalations and confidential issues

+ At least 1 year of experience with Workday HCM system

+ Six Sigma certification

+ Professional HR certification
