Senior Associate, Regulatory Reporting Technology & Projects



We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Reporting Readiness team as a Senior Associate in the Change Management space. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative environment, and have the ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. They will have excellent communication skills, very strong analytical and project management skills, and the ability to adapt to change quickly. This role will support corporate and line of business initiatives as well as the team’s technology enhancement initiatives and ongoing maintenance needs. He or she will quickly navigate a learning curve to understand existing processes and regulatory reporting requirements.



**Primary Responsibilities:**



• Drive Reporting engagement in corporate and line of business initiatives, ensuring impacts to our processes are adequately addressed and socialized



• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners in lines of business, project management and other accounting and reporting teams



• Develop strong subject matter knowledge around regulatory reporting requirements and Capital One reporting processes



• Be passionate about identifying and pursuing continuous process improvements



**Qualifications**



**Basic Qualifications**



• Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience



• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or at least 2 years of experience with financial reporting



**Preferred Qualifications:**



• CPA certification



• 3+ years regulatory reporting experience at financial institution



• 3+ years of public accounting experience



• 3+ years of financial reporting experience



• 3+ years in implementing process improvements



• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
