Senior Manager, Client Development for Card Customer Experience



As a Senior Manager, Client Development for Card Customer Experience, you will serve as a primary operational interface between the Card Operations Customer Experience (CCX) organization and Capital One’s Corporate Development and Partnerships’ Business Development teams. Your role will balance sales and risk management.You will collaborate with Business Development on how to best position Capital One’s Card Operations and CCX capabilities, culture, and performance within RFP responses or other sales materials shared with prospective partners or businesses Capital One may be looking to acquire.You will model the financial implications of different partner requests, and compare against Capital One’s preferred offer.In addition to the sales and analytical responsibilities, it will be your responsibility to make sure Operations and CCX are represented in due diligence efforts and contract negotiations.Through teamwork you will be expected to leverage subject matter experts to assess 3rd parties and negotiate contractual terms.Ultimately, you will represent the organization to influence prospective partners and fulfill on the obligations detailed above.



We are seeking dedicated and disciplined professionals who excel in a team environment and are experts in the Financial Services Industry. This individual will have demonstrated that they can successfully implement large and small scale initiatives. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners both internally and externally, and across multiple levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment are essential to succeeding in this role. This individual must display strong leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate stakeholders in a matrixed environment to assess and analyze new deals, while pushing for the needs of Operations and CCX.



Responsibilities of this role may include:



+ Creating and validating operational pitch materials, RFP responses, and stock contractual requirements

+ Driving projects and presentations aligned with desired customer outcomes

+ Analyzing, identifying, and understanding financial impacts of specific contractual requirements and terms

+ Providing operational subject matter expertise when representing the department in negotiations, due diligence, and other meetings







Basic Qualifications:



+ Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

+ At least 2 years of Project Management experience or at least 2 years of Process Management experience



Preferred Qualifications:



+ Master’s Degree

+ 5 years of experience in Process management

+ 5 years of experience in Project management

+ 2 years of experience in People management

+ 2 years of experience in Relationship management
