Senior Manager, Diversity and Inclusion



In the Capital One Card organization, we are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels like they belong. As the Senior Manager of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) supporting the Card business, you’ll work directly with senior leaders in the business and our HR organization in order to develop and drive a D&I strategy for the Card organization.



You will be responsible for developing an integrated diversity strategy that spans talent acquisition, learning, development, retention and associate engagement/culture. You will work closely with partners across the enterprise and in the broader industry to introduce and embed best practices to achieve our collective D&I goals.



You should exhibit strong communication, influencing, and problem solving skills. You should have a passion for diversity and inclusion, and an ability to influence and engage others at all levels. You should be dynamic and flexible in your approach to managing and influencing across a variety of leaders in different parts of the business, with varying levels of responsibility. You will possess confidence in proposing and implementing new and different ideas. You will be a curious and constant learner in D&I, both internally with peers in other parts of the organization and externally in the Financial Services and Technology industries.



Responsibilities:



+ Partner with business leaders and HR Consultants to develop and implement innovative strategies to support our diversity and inclusion journey (including assessing and measuring progress)

+ Integrate the Card D&I strategy and plan with Card’s People Imperative

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with talent acquisition, HR Consulting, learning and analytics teams to embed best practices across the organization

+ Partner and work closely with Capital One’s Corporate D&I team; including active leadership and participation on the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board

+ Partner with communications teams to develop a comprehensive strategy to meaningfully engage the Card organization in the topic of D&I

+ Represent Card’s D&I work stream and vision to internal and external partners

+ Manage reporting and insights on D&I data for the Card business and with Card HR partners



Basic Qualifications:



+ Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

+ At least 5 years of delivery experience



Preferred Qualifications:



+ Experience in developing and implementing innovative D&I strategies in large organizations

+ Advanced project management skills including the ability to adapt to a changing environment and managing a wide variety of projects
