Senior Manager, PCI Compliance--Validation Team



The Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance team at Capital One Financial is looking a seasoned PCI subject matter expert to become a member of the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Center of Excellence (COE). In this role, you would primarily serve as an internal assessor of PCI compliance for our various business entities to support the annual issuance of Attestations of Compliance (AOC) and may support a team of other internal assessors.



**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ Develop strong relationships with the Internal Security Assessor (ISA) team that includes collaborating on PCI assessments in terms of requirement testing and evidence review.

+ Serve as a PCI-DSS expert within the PCI COE, providing specialist knowledge and actionable PCI DSS guidance to the ISAs and validation team members as it relates to documentation and requirements to achieve PCI compliance

+ Conduct targeted validation and detailed assessments of company processes, applications, products, documentation and third party adherence to the PCI DSS

+ Create tools and guidelines to support ISAs and LOBs in conducting PCI Self Assessments

+ Thoroughly review submitted evidence, identifying compliance gaps and communicating detailed and summary results in a professional manner.

+ Stay current with architecture and technology developments and competitive trends, e.g., cloud security and software defined networking, and use this knowledge to support validation activities



**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

+ Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), Internal Security Assessor (ISA) or PCIP certification

+ At least 5 years of experience in evaluating enterprise PCI DSS compliance

+ At least 5 years of experience with technical IT controls



**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**



+ CISA certification

+ CISSP certification

+ CRISC certification

+ 5 years experience working in the financial services industry
